National Institute of Mental Health

Canadian Council on Rehabilitation and Work - WorklNK
WorkINK is an interactive site dedicated to work equity. It publishes a number of articles on the difficulties experienced by job seekers with various disabilities, including those with psychiatric disabilities. This site offers an on-line employment magazine, job accommodation information and job opportunities for people with disabilities. The most important facet of this site is the counselling chat room where job seekers can discuss their situation with an on-line counsellor.

The Job Accommodation Network
The Job Accommodation Network (JAN) is an international toll-free consulting service that provides information about job accommodations and the employability of people with functional limitations. JAN is there to help employers, rehabilitation professionals and persons with disabilities themselves. In Canada, the toll free number is: 1-800-526-2262.

Workable Solutions
WorkAble Solutions is an initiative to connect BC employers to persons with disabilities by providing valuable employment resources and support. The goal of the initiative is to help employers turn potential challenges into workable solutions and increase the recruitment and retention of persons with disabilities.
